Problem importing custom stadiums

(Repeating this post from OOTP 24 page. Went unanswered for over two weeks.)

I'm still learning OOTP 24, so apologies if I've missed something. For my fictional league, I've been adding custom stadiums from the fantastic contributors to this site (manually importing the pak file from the menu). At first, everything I selected installed seamlessly. But now, every time I try to add a custom stadium, the game installs the stadium from my last successful import and not the stadium I've selected to import. This happens regardless of which pak file I pick and regardless of which team I try to modify.

I would really like to install more custom stadiums, but I'm stumped. Maybe there is something obvious that I'm missing. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

OK, pardon the silly question but trying to diagnose this...

Do you create a new stadium (from the dropdown menu) before importing the .prk file?
