Perfect Draft suggestion

OOTP 25 has had a ton of awesome QOL features added that I am very grateful for. Here's one more I'd like:

Sometimes in a draft, you accidentally don't get backups for every position, which is a death sentence. What I would like is a one-time draft do-over if the system sees that there isn't a backup at a position. You'd get one do-over for either the entire draft or perhaps even choosing a player to swap out from a pre-determined list of similarly ranked players.

I also like the idea of a final round where you can swap out one or two players. It would be most beneficial for the situation you describe, but might also be helpful in other cases, for example if you ended up with no speed or no power on your bench.

When deciding which player to draft or which free agent to pursue, I find it helpful to look at how many positions the player has ratings for. For example, if you are looking for a backup infielder and have two candidates, A has a 3 star rating, B has 3 1/2 stars. You find that, although he has a higher rating, B has started only at 3B, while A has experience at 2B, SS, and 3B. You may want to choose A because he can fill in at 3 positions, a real utility player, rather than B who can only play one but is more highly rated.

Of course, there will be other factors, age, speed, batting avg., etc., but that's the kind of decision managers are paid to make. Personally, I like having players who are versatile on the squad. In one game I had the chance to get Hank Aaron, but I already had 3 sluggers in the outfield; then I found out Hank rated at 2B and snapped him up. That's part of the fun of OOTP. Just my 2¢.
