Spring Training opened with Jim Abbott being knocked around by the AL Champs. The Tigers beat the Blue Jays, 6-3.

Miguel Rivera homered for Toronto.

The Jays didn't get a hit until the 8th but in took until the 12th before there was any scoring.

The Red Sox took this one, 2-1.

Keith Foster struggled in his first Spring start, but the Toronto batters came from trailing 7-0 to beat the Mariners, 10-9.

Leonard Williams went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 RBI.
