What's up with the market manipulation?

At the time I am writing this Hod Ford, a nothing bronze card that is not part of any mission has a last 10 of $6700 on the market.

It's pretty obvious a person or persons are shifting money around to pool resources between multiple accounts. It happens all the time. I expect since this is a PTCS lead-up week there will be plenty more of this going on in the days ahead.

So what's the deal? Is it possible for one individual who purchased the game twice to do this on their own? Like, let's say I have six teams across two accounts: A, B, C, and X, Y, Z. And lets say I want all my assets pooled into team A. What's to stop me from liquidating all other teams assets into pp, funneling B and C assets into X, Y and Z, then run a 'Hod Ford' funneling X, Y and Z back into A, effectively pooling six teams worth of assets into one place?

Is this the way whales operate? Account laundering between multiple purchased copies of the game? The market manipulation is obviously happening, so what is OOTPs stance on this? Is what I described above perfectly fine as long as I purchase two copies of the game? If not what is being done to prevent it?

As a casual/competitive ftp manager there are lots of things I find frustrating about this game, but as I am scraping together my limited resources trying to get teams together for PTCS and I see this late stage capitalism simulator BS going on in the market, i don't know...it's like why am I even bothering.

I'd love to other managers' opinions on this topic as well as OOTPs official stance on things.

I have heard they catch some people doing this and issue bans, but due to lack of resources or other factors, they don't catch everyone doing this.

Hod Ford was Legendary in 21 or so for stealing like 80 bases per season.

The Moderation Team is evaluating transactions constantly, and actions are taken against accounts that violate the TOS. If you see something unusual, you can send it to me via a Private Message and I will forward it to the Moderation Team to see if they got it already. We have systems in place to catch people funneling PP and cards between accounts.

Thank you.

Thank you for the response, it's good to hear this something that OOTP has their eyes on and is working to combat. I'll happily deal with folks that spend irl money/time to gain an advantage, but the cheating is pretty unpalatable.
