First off, thanks for fixing the tab issue so quickly and allowing us to edit player personality.


There are a few things I'd love to see added:



1) 2D mode.
This was always the bread and butter of OOTP, and it makes so much sense for mobile. It would demand much less resources, and on smaller screens I think would give a much better experience.


2) Allow us to save setting templates. Or at least provide pre-defined templates.
I find myself with each save having to adjust the same things over and over again (e.g. enabling amateur draft, reducing injuries, disabling recalc after each season, etc)


3) Allow us to see the spring training stats.
I requested this previously and understood from Markus this shouldn't be too difficult. I think the stats are being tracked, they just aren't displayed anywhere. The only way to check currently is to view box scores from the spring training games. This should be an option under splits and game type.

I've never done screenshots before so hopefully I can explain this well enough:
There is a way to find spring training stats but it requires a little bit of digging.
You mention the box scores: not sure if you know that if you tap your team logo in that box score it will take you to a whole different team page not accessible anywhere else in the game?
On this page it will give a fountain of information. Some of it directly on the page, and more in links to other pages.
Look for "batting stats" and "pitching stats" links near the top left.
On those pages you can select a filter for spring training games.

1) Personally I would love this as well. It's just not easy since a while ago (before I joined the company even and before the first version of Go) they decided to basically move entirely away from 2D in the base game, so there's not really the code support there anymore (or at least it might be there be super broken now). I was actually hoping to look into it more and make this one of the major new features for next years game, but it'll depend on what monsters I find in the closet

2) Could probably add something like this, I think it might go with another feature we were thinking of adding which were preset settings to easily setup new games. It might be a lower priority than other things though

3) Yeah for as long as I've played the game this has bugged me, I've just never had the bandwidth to do something about it. If I get the time I'll absolutely see if this is possible

Thanks that's quite helpful! But we really should not make so much digging necessary haha

I have mentioned it in a previous version but I would like to see a league wide email at the end of the season listing all players who have decided to retire instead of just getting one regarding your players.
