Cruz wasn’t doing too well, but you may be right considering the two prospects I got turned out to not be as good as I thought they’d be. Still very good potential, but certainly the trade is not looking like a steal anymore. Hopefully I can still get some value out of it, though.

Nice pickup of Devin Williams. I understand the move to a monthly look in order to keep things moving along, but I would mention that I really liked how you shared the scoring recap from one game of the series. Hadn't seen that approach before and really liked how you were presenting it. Regardless, good luck with the Pirates!

I would do it again, but the way I did it was I would write while watching the game, which was incredibly slow even if the format at the end was pretty cool. I'll still do it for playoff games and opening day, but probably not for every series opener. Plus I was/am losing interest in the save, since the Pirates are in a weird spot where they aren't in a complete rebuild but also not good enough to be competitive come October and not enough money to buy anybody. I like one or the other with my saves, but hopefully i'll continue for a couple more seasons.

A very up-and-down month for us in my opinion. We went from being as close as half a game to a playoff spot to not even being 2nd in the division.

As expected, we missed the playoffs. After we had lost those two games versus "the Athletics", it was over. Unfortunate, but let's hope we can regroup for next season.

SP Paul Skenes (1 year) - I would've signed him to more if I could.
RP Caleb Ferguson (3 years)
RP David Bednar (1 year) - He will be our closer next year since Williams did quite poorly with us.
SP Jared Jones (1 year) - May be his last year if he can't improve, his ERA was awful in our 2025 campaign.
C Joey Bart (1 year) - Despite not seeming to have an amazing year, he did lead our team in WAR, so there's clearly something to him.
SP Braxton Ashcraft (1 year)
2B Spencer Horwitz (1 year)
