Commish Mode Trading

Have had a few saves, where I am really enjoying it, until a few bad/unrealistic trades (imo) happen, and kind of kills the joy out of the save. i know I can go in a reverse them. I am curious that when playing in commish mode, any computer trades have to pass the commissioner desk, where the player can veto or edit the trade.

I LOVE this idea — and can't imagine it would be terribly difficult to implement, from a technical standpoint. I play in commissioner mode for immersion purposes; guiding one team as manager & GM, while reserving the right to 'correct' the rest of the league when they DFA Shohei Ohtani or trade Walker Jenkins for a bag of balls. That means a lot of time spent manually reversing trades that make no sense. A 'Commissioner's Veto' would be an awesome tool!

Excellent idea! Horrible AI trades can kill the immersion factor real quick.

I play as Manager and GM of the present-day Cubs. In order to keep the division challenging, I did something new in last year's version that worked for me. On opening day, before the first games were played, I took control one after the other of the teams in the NL Central and tagged a number of players in each organization as "untouchable" so that the AI wouldn't trade them away for a bag of balls, as Trapper John states. Then I'd go back to controlling the Cubs and none of the untouchables on the other teams were ever dealt away. After the season, I removed all of the untouchable tags and let the AI do whatever it wanted to do until opening day, when I'd again identify some untouchables in the division.

But having a blanket Commissioner's Veto for AI trades is even better!

OOTP Team: Is this something that can be implemented into OOTP 26?

Glad, I'm not the only one that thought this. I love control over my world.....not just my team. A lot of effort into creating leagues/teams ect, so anything that would help keep the interest in the league, I am all for.

Can't remember which football sim had it, but a sandlot option, where the user oversees all the teams would been great.
