Is it true that there is no promotion or relegation in Low Gold this week? Is that how it's supposed to be?

I'm sure there will be. Last week, they waited on adding it until late in the season. Probably an issue with figuring out how many new teams will move from Entry Pool into the regular ranks and the domino effect that will have. They also haven't added High Diamonds or Perfect League yet. I'm in Low Diamond, and they aren't showing there either.

That and Super Promotions are a thing this year where dominant teams in lower levels can move up more than one spot, so that also effect things, too.

How do super promotions work? Is it that you skip 1 level if you get a certain win threshold?

So it skipped Iron, both Bronze levels, both Silver levels, and low Gold.

Yes, the first threshold is 110/162 (67.9%) of your regular season games.
This is independent from your regular promotion. So if you would move up to the next level due to the normal promotion, you will skip a level. If for would not promote you just move up one level.

The other thresholds are 120/162 (74.1%), 130/162 (80.2%) and so on, increasing 10 games per skip.

For the entry pool the team needs at least 30 games played to be eligible for super promotion (just like during the first week).

The maximum reachable level with super promotion is High Gold. Every tier higher is not considered.

If you jump from High Silver to High Gold bypassing Low Gold through Super promotion do you still receive the 25000 pp first time promotion reward for Low Gold?

Yes, if it's your first time promoting to Gold, you'd get both the 25k and 35k bonus.
If you've already been to Low Gold, you'd only get the 35k High Gold bonus.

I’ve managed to survive in High Diamond for four consecutive weeks now and reached the playoffs in two of these. No idea how because compared to what I’m up against my team is poor.

There will be. It just takes a while sometimes during the week for the numbers to be figured out. In fact, those numbers are out right now.
