Game Keeps Crashing

I enjoy managing an entire season, but I'm having problems now. This is the second save I have started that this happens.

I'm managing the Orioles and I finish the 1st series of the year against the Blue Jays. When I go to play the first game against the Red Sox, the game crashes when I select "Start Game". Everytime!

Basically I can't continue the season.

Its almost like Camden Yards is the problem. I just tried to start a 1996 season managing the O's, but the game crashes when I select start game on the 1st game, which is a home game. Same as the Boston series.

OK so its defiantly Camden Yards.

I uninstalled and deleted everything, then re-installed the game. Played a historical exhibition between the 2023 Orioles and 2024 Yankees. Everything worked fine when playing at Yankee Stadium, but when playing at Camden Yards......every time I click start game, it crashes.

What can I do?

The first step I would suggest is to make sure your data folder installed correctly. I know we made some changes to the 3d model, it's possible for some reason that didn't install correctly for you.

If you are using a custom folder, you may want to move the files over manually. Otherwise through steam you can use the "verify local files" options when you rick click on the game in your library, or on standalone in the settings popup on the troubleshooting tab, there is an option to "force game data reinstallation"

Even more useful would be the trace file, if you turn on debug and grab that after the crash happens (can send the last several if you want since it's always a little hard to tell the exact file to take).

Are you using modded ballparks here or the default ones that come with the game?

It will take for us time to analyze it, and it's after 1AM my time and for most of the dev team. Should probably know more tomorrow.

I tried to download the one in the workshop but I'm pretty sure I deleted them when I re-installed the game.

What happens if you play at Camden Yards in 2025 in the current roster set? Do you still see this then?

If you deleted the modded parks after installing them, it's possible your 2023 Orioles are looking for one of those deleted parks.

I have deleted everything associated with OOTP26, unsubcribed to all mods in the workshop, and re-installed. Just played the Orioles 1st 4 game series @Toronto everything is fine. Go to play 1st game of the series @Baltimore against Boston and when I click start game, it crashes.

It works fine in 2D, but not 3D, which is a bummer.

I'm in a similar situation. When playing a game out in a 3D ballpark, it will crash the game most of the time. Some 3D ballparks seem worse than others. I can play games in 2D but who wants to do that
