Draft Pool not populating after import

I imported my saved league from 25 into 26 and looked around and it looked like everything imported properly and i was happy as the whole process seemed seamless. However the anticipated upcoming draft has a problem as there has been no player population. There are NO players to draft! I have the draft day set to December 10 so the eligible players should show up on November 10. I have not seen anybody else mention this. Is there a fix? By the way I waited until the World Series was over and Imported 26 into 25 1 day into the offseason.

Yeah, I'm going to presume this is an historical save and you're talking about no historical rookies appearing at the draft reveal?

If so, this has been an issue for a few versions now and the devs seem either unwilling or unable to address it. Which, given how important a bug it is, amazes me.

Basically it comes down to the address for the DB being incorrect after you import a game.

Sometimes the game sorts it out by itself; other times (such as, it seems, what you are experiencing), it doesn't.

So you can try to fix it yourself by going to the HISTORICAL tab and, in the right-hand section, you'll see a section for the DB path. Despite numerous requests by yours truly, you still can't point the game to the proper directory on your computer - instead, you have to type in the full path for it exactly as it appears on your computer. Even then, this doesn't always work.

Try it if you feel up to it and if it doesn't fix your problem, I suggest you post it as a bug in the appropriate manner and place and see how you go there.
