First year player going on active roster

The players I drafted from the first year player draft are going on my active roster or are dfa

what is going on?

Are you on patch 45? On earlier patches it was normal for them to go on DFA, but on patch 45 as long as you are in control of the team, minor league players shouldn't go on DFA (on AI-controlled teams they still may for a time, before the AI assigns them to different levels).

The weird thing is that it never happened till the recent update

Also, I love how you have made the stats much more realistic in the game than in previous ones. Once the bugs are out of the way, this might become my favorite OOTP

Is the AI controlling the team? Maybe you're just in commish mode and 'acting as' the GM, which means you'd still see the AI doing this.

Or are there any settings you've changed?

I am full control of the major league roster and Assistant GM is in control of the minor leagues. Commish mode is off. I have not changed any settings since starting the game. I checked and the settings are the same
