Draft Combine not populating

I started a historic league and am playing my first year of an expansion team. I set the draf t combine to start 6 weeks after reveal and last 5 days. I got to the start of the draft combine and it is empty, it says no players have been invited. Is there something I am missing to get it to populate with players?

Huh. So it just isn't available in Historic leagues? That stinks, I was really looking forward to trying it. I appreciate you pointing me towards an answer, thank you.

If you do career mode and activate scouting (so not default 100 percent accurate) it might. I have not tried but not sure it works in games utilizing recalc.

I am in career mode and using OOTP development engine, so I guess it does not.

What is scouting set to in game settings>global settings? That’s the only other thing I can think of. Oh, and then see if there is a toggle for it that had been off and can be turned on. Look under league settings and then the rules tab. Draft stuff is on right hand side.

Accuracy was set to high and the draft combine was set to allow (the combine started, it was just empty).

I set the accuracy to normal, reran full scouting and pushed back the date of the combine starting from 6 weeks to 7 to see if maybe it will work on a lower setting. I'll update when I get there.

Unfortunately did not work. The draft combine is still empty and no one has been invited to attend.

Does strike me as an odd choice to make this unavailable for historical games. Must be some reason for doing so, I guess. If not I hope the decision gets reconsidered.

I definitely have the combine active in my historical game. I would check all of your settings to see what else may be causing the issue. The combine has its own box that has to be checked. I’d start there.

I have it enabled (see attached for my settings) it's just that when the draft combine starts it does not invite any prospects to attend and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to populate.

Full scouting is on. OOTP development engine on…

To add people you have to right click on their names and add them that way…not sure why you have no one in your combine based on your screenshots

No, I’ve an empty draft combine in standard 2025 save. Accuracy set to Normal with the combine enabled. I’ll try and upload a copy of save when back from work.

I had the draft combine populate in my 1870s playthrough, but started a Mariners expansion playthrough and it did not populate.

There is not one difference in settings, but in the 1870s playthrough I manually import the draft class.

What do people mean by not populating?

Make sure you do not have any filters set. I have created a few games now and I always have players in the list.
