MLB Full Re-Sim Hall of Fame
I'm doing a full re-sim of all of MLB history in OOTP 24. I raised TCR a little bit and I'm just seeing what happens. I'm going to post every year's Hall of Fame class so hopefully people can follow along.

MLB Full Re-Sim Hall of Fame Part 1 (1886)
1886 is the inaugural Hall of Fame Class, as it's the first year with eligible players. So here we go:
https://preview.redd.it/mlb-full-re-...=webp&d915815f First is longtime New York Mutuals ace George Zettlein. His sole Cy Young win came in 1874, leading the league with 25 wins and posting a 2.27 ERA. He also had exquisite seasons in '76 and '78, posting a sub-2.00 ERA both years. He won back-to-back championships in '73 and '74, followed up by a third in '78. Finishing his career with a 124 ERA+ and 1.09 WHIP over 2500 innings and 179 wins, I'm proud to name George Zettlein as the first member of the MLB Hall of Fame. In his first year on the ballot, he earned 97.2% of the vote. https://preview.redd.it/mlb-full-re-...=webp&0bc65aeb Next is Chicago White Stockings legend Dick McBride. While he never won a Cy Young Award, McBride arguably should've won it in MLB's first season (which was more hitter-friendly than the Steroid Era), leading the league in innings, ERA, and WAR. A solidly above-average pitcher into his early 30s, McBride finished his career with 177 wins, a 117 ERA+, and 39 WAR. Receiving 88.6% of the vote, the reliable starter walked into the Hall of Fame in his first year on the ballot. https://preview.redd.it/mlb-full-re-...=webp&5db6a09d Last is Washington Olympics ace Cherokee Fisher. Winning the Cy Young in '71 and '74, Fisher clearly had the accolades to make the Hall, but the longevity of his success was clearly an obstacle. Only having 7 seasons above 100 ERA+, consistency wasn't his strong suit. Fisher ended up with a 112 ERA+ and 169 wins over a 10-year career. Despite his short-lived peak and somewhat early retirement, Fisher earned 82.8% of the vote on his first ballot and made the Hall of Fame. Zettlein is the only player I put on my ballot this year. Honestly, I'm not even sure how much he deserved it, but he was the best choice in my opinion. Full voting results: SP George Zettlein - 97.2% (1) SP Dick McBride - 88.6% (1) SP Cherokee Fisher - 82.8% (1) 2B Wes Fisler - 6.2% (1) I'm excited to keep posting these, (at whatever pace I'm able to spend a lot of time on the game and writing these out) so let me know if you're interested in more and if there's anything else you wanna know about! To post their plaques as images in the thread here (go to the advanced tab beneath this text box, then manage attachments, use cropped jpg files, navigate to them, select them and hit upload). There is even a preview of the post to ensure it took once you are in "Go Advanced". Nice thread
