Mets' Budget

I was curious about this for a while now, but how is the budget determined for the Mets? Cohen has the most money at his disposal and the deepest pockets. I am just wondering how their budget ($350M) is lower than the Dodgers (by nearly $100M) and Yankees. Thanks, and I am loving it so far!

If you see them outperform expectations in 2025, let us know how that budget moves up / down, etc ... that's what I'm going to be interested to see (the "Soto effect"). What do they have the owner specs at right now? I haven't looked at the Mets yet ... is he set to spend spend spend and be generous?
