Surprised I have not seen a thread on this already

For all of the crap it receives, I enjoy MLS football when I am able to watch it.
And it is a true success story now. Now in it's 30th season, with 30 clubs spread across the USA and Canada.

As for this season, I have given only a cursory glance at the previews.

But LA Galaxy look to defend their championship and seem to have a good squad again.

This may be Inter Miami's last chance at a title before Messi departs (or retires) and their expensive team breaks up.

I love MLS and a proud season ticket holder with FC Dallas. Unfortunately, we're only ever good at producing talent from our academy and selling for big bucks, which unfortunately, doesn't come back to the team as much as I (and others) would like. Either way, love the atmosphere and try to never miss a game.

We got lucky against Houston last weekend as they basically gave us two goals, but a wins a win and anytime we keep the cannon, I'm happy

This has no place in spectator sports. Football/soccer in particular should be ashamed of itself — there have been frequent manifestations around the world recently —but as for the culprit fans, they are beyond such a capability.

You know what would work? Actually following through on the threat to cancel the match after the third warning is ignored. No refunds. Then look for the crowd to "self-police" in the future.

Columbus Crew STH here, there have been a few threads in the past, but they rarely get legs. I am excited about the new season, although the Crew need to add a few more pieces, especially after helping Cucho move to Real Betis. I still have a lot of faith in Nancy's abilities a a coach to keep things going, especially with the ability he has to work with young players.

This wasn’t the usual “product defect,” though — a dinged corner or noticeable print line running through the card. This was a challenge by the industry’s most prominent authenticator to something many collectors have come to take for granted: that autographs certified by major card manufacturers are the real deal.

Autographed cards have become big business for the companies that produce them. They command a value premium on the secondary market, and cards signed by top names like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes sell for up to millions of dollars. The authenticity of those signatures is rarely questioned. If autographs from one of the biggest superstar athletes in the world aren’t real, then what does that mean for all the other autographed cards out there?

Topps has agreed to remake the card, tantamount to admitting without actually doing so that the signature was fake.

EDIT: I don't know how these experts can be precise. In that article, there is a gif of two signatures and sure, they are dissimilar. But look closely at the photo below the gif, at three versions of Messi's signature in the foreground. Side-by-side-by-side, they do not look alike, either!

Well, with today's 95' loss at San Diego, the Galaxy are galaxies away from being good, now at 0-4-11 (won-drew-lost) or 0-11-4 (won-lost-tied) if you prefer the American form.

What?? I assume they let some players go and have had some bad luck…but winless in 15? I can't think of any defending champion that has ever done such a total face-plant.

Anybody actually following this?
