How can you tell arm strenght? I mean what if i have a guy in the minors who's playing first but I might want to teach him third. How can i tell if he's got the arm for it?

I think arm strength only applies to catcher's and outfielders so it doesn't matter for infielders.

why doesn't it matter for infielders? I think it would be a nice thing to have in the game, arm does matter very much for some infielders

Just not something "currently" part of the game.

It would be pretty cool if only one arm strength rating was used in future versions. I've had a few failed pitching prospects with decent hitting talent that I've converted into position players, it seems odd that when I teach them an OF position, they get an E arm rating. I would think a pitcher would have to rate pretty high, even if he sucks.

i agree.. some good SS have medium arm, while other SS have a canon as arm....
could be fun to have in game... but i can already see all the change it would cause in the game.... |
