Go is currently in Beta We don't usually release details until shortly after the base game comes out, since that's where most our attention is currently focused, but we have some upgrades that I'm excited about (like adding the scouting system)

Curious if the WBC changes mean that each country is only going to have one national team that participates across different tournaments. If so, that might be the biggest change to tournaments since their introduction.

This road to the WBC is incredibly interesting. I’d love to see the ability for international qualifiers to feed into our own WBCs in our league and hope it’s a sign of things to come!

With the (excellent-sounding) new draft updates, is there any chance that you've made the draft-specific fields (namely: school, commit school, school year, and draft year) editable in the draft pool import/export CSV? That hasn't been the case in the past, and it prevents the OOTP community from creating and sharing accurate draft classes.

I like to create more expansive and detailed real-life classes to use in-game (going much deeper on prep prospects than the baseline game does), but those draft pools can’t currently be transferred from save to save, because draftees’ school info isn’t part of the CSV file. High school standouts become redshirt college seniors; guys move from Vanderbilt to Southwest Central Wyoming State; and so forth. For me, it detracts enormously from the immersion — and fixing the CSV omission would provide a great opportunity for dedicated players to improve upon the game’s built-in draft classes (which, respectfully, are often missing a lot of prominent prospects, including first-round talents).

This simple improvement would make it possible for any user or users to build robust, accurate draft classes that any other user could deploy. If there’s any chance of making this small change in ‘26, I would appreciate it immensely — perhaps others would as well.

Will OOTP26 Go address the issue with scrolling on tournament trees or having complete searchable rankings?

Some of my accounts would show up at the end of the ranking list in Go with their rank, so would not and I would have to go into the actual game to see my rankings if they were not in the top 25 for that particular category.

Hey guys--question for all of you. Should I buy on Steam or FastSpring? I have done both in the past. Although, I do enjoy the auto updates and easier application of mods than having to download myself. However, can I still download mods from the Steam workshop, find them in the folders, and then just copy them over to my FastSpring edition? I wanted the early access. Thank you!!!

Just keep checking this forum for patches there will be multiple ones. The stable release the game will also work like a patch. And there will be more patches and update

Custom reports question:

Will there be a way to generate custom reports for offline league members? I run a dynasty league with 5 friends who do not own the game. I submit full system stats for each person's team twice a year and also give full report of ratings and potential at beginning of season.

The process is quite manual. I go to the screen I need and click Open In Browser. From there a run a web query on an excel sheet and pull the data in that way. Then I copy and paste into a shared google doc.

I do the same thing with draft classes and International Prospects and more things as well. I would love a way to automate this.

Is there a way in the current version or something coming in 26?

I know it would be easier if they all had the game but there's just no chance that will happen and this is the only way we could do this.

Under Options/Game Options/Game Sound, choose "Game sound + text-to-speech" to hear your computer's voice synthesizer read the play by play. The computer speaks more slowly than I read so I usually keep it off, except for the first pitch of every game so I can hear the pre-game chatter while I settle in. Sometimes for special occasions like the All Star Game I'll leave it on. (Put the setting back on "Enabled" to turn off the text-to-speech.)

Really I think the in-game commentary doesn't get as much credit as it should. It amazes me that I've been playing this game for over 15 years and I still hear things said in-game I've never heard before - there's obviously some constant updating going on in there. Yet another aspect of how this game blows away other sports games like MLB The Show.

Please build a new inside the park style game for our phones!!!! Other apps make a killing with games that are inferior to the original ISTP but have the same concept.
