End of an era

As OOTP 25 winds down I just finished the career of the best player I had over the course of the almost 70 years into this sim I am (I have had a handful of all time greats) Probably not gonna top this before the new game comes out.

What an incredible career.

I'm left with one question. How in the heck is he "fragile." What a durable career.

I actually always wondered that and if it would change.... Never had any sort of injury besides maybe a few games here and there and it never changed from fragile. He also barely ever even was day to day and just played through it. I think that needs some love!

My only regret is at the beginning of the season I had offered him another year or 2 for cheap just to let him move up some more on all time lists. I think if I had offered before he announced his retirement he coulda played another year or two 1.6 WAR .276 BA isnt too bad if he could just DH

Another 3 years and he'd be challenging Pete Rose's hit record. He will definitely be a first ballot unanimous hall of famer
