Historical League Settings

Hi All,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread with the verbiage I'm using, so please bear with me.

I'm doing my first historical save starting out in 1989. I'd like to mimic actual league evolution/expansion as the save unfolds. I see the expansion setting and made sure that the 'automatically expand league' setting was turned on. My understanding is that will have the league expand just as it does in real life. Does this apply to all teams logos, locations, etc? Wasn't sure what all it covered. I did manage to read the description in the player's manual for it. Just wanted to clarify.

Also, is there a setting that would allow me to automatically recreate all the league changes as they unfolded in real life. Some examples might include adding of the DH and roster sizes. I see the financial setting and have that one turned out. Just seems like a lot to hunt down all the league changes that occurred and update them year by year. If I must do that, I will, but just didn't see a setting for it. If I have to make those updates to my league save, is there a thread that has all the changes listed year by year so I can make this as accurate as possible?

For the second part, Automatically Expand League should be renamed to something like "Automatically Handle Historical Structure Changes" or something like that. So, yes, if you have this enabled, it will auto-handle not only league expansion, but relocations, divisional realignment, nickname changes, ballpark name changes, and rules such as DH & roster sizes...

I'm less familiar with logos & the like but these should be auto-handled, too.

All those changes should happen automatically.
