Spring training Standings

Spring training has started.
I noticed that there are 2 places you can see the standings.
When you look at Spring Coverage it doesn't show the ties.
When you look at Standing it does show the ties.
Shouldn't ties be shown on both screens?
Thanks

Another Spring Training rule that it looks like you can't do is:
A pitcher can come out of the game in one inning and can come back in again later.

I just noticed something while watching the spring training games.
A player can come in for another player let's say in position 8 in the lineup.
But then I notice he is batting in a different place in the lineup like 4th.

Is this a new rule or just in spring training?
Wish OOTP could replicate these things.

The only way that happens is the AI is switching positions at the time the substitution is made. Example..

CF bats 8th, SS bats 4th
A player comes into the game and is put in the 4th spot. At the same time he is set to play CF. The current 8 hitter plays both CF and SS and at that time is moved to SS.

Or it's a double switch and a new player comes into the 8 spot and is placed at SS, along with a new player coming into the 4 spot and being placed in CF.

I can't imagine the bold would be worth the time to code. I'd never use it and there's no way the AI would "understand" the concept so would end up using it just to use it. I am curious, teams actually do this with professional pitchers where an arm injury can ruin any chance of a career? Maybe a split squad game where a team is on their last pitcher (bad planning) and the guy gets injured requiring someone to pitch? It's ST why not just call the game and avoid injury? Maybe I'm missing something?

As for the standings, should it be on both? Sure, My best guess is when they added the ability to have ties it was just overlooked. Might just be me, but I can't see why anyone would look at spring coverage when the actual standings screen gives the user more information? Having said that I'd think fixing it would be a minor coding job and should be done if only to dot the I's and cross the T's.

@sweed

I wasn't talking about what OOTP actually does.
This happened in a real spring training game I was watching on TV.

I was trying to use OOTP to mimic the real spring training game.
They switched the batting order of the players on the real game.

I know it seems silly but just trying to play the OOTP the same way the actual game was being played.

Same with the pitchers.
The game I was watching had a pitcher replaced by another pitcher only to come back in the game in another inning.

Got it. Though I would then go back to return on the coding time invested to get that "reality" vs. the number of users that would ever use the feature. Of course I'm not a developer so that thought is worth the paper it's printed on. You're always free to add it to the suggestion forum, you never know.
