Owner requests

Hi,

I'm currently having problems with two owner goals while managing in the DEL.

My board wants me to improve the average attendance of fans. I had two years to work on it, but the progress stopped at the end of the first year and it does not take into account the second year so far, so I'm currently failing the goal despite improving the attendance as demanded (I was a bit under the threshold last year but I should be over it now if the two years were counted towards the goal).

The second problem is maybe more of an oversight than a bug per se, but the "re-sign star player" goal seems to be a bit harsh when playing in the lower euro leagues, especially when the goal have a high priority.

While I understand star players don't always want to renew their contracts even in the NHL, most of the star players in the euro leagues usually sign short term contracts, so the owners tend to demand this specific goal quite a lot (I had to do it every of the 6 seasons of my journeyman save so far).

Star players also don't stick around for long depending on the league. They are more than often not interested to re-sign another contract. So when this request comes every season, but sometimes with a high priority, it becomes a real run killer.

I was sacked from my previous job despite becoming champion with a winning % of more than 74, also becoming GM and coach of the year, because I could not re-sign a player (high priority). My self preservation stat was also at 20 at the time. That seemed pretty harsh for something I could not do anything about.

I may now finding myself in trouble again in my current job because I can't re-sign another player that has no interest in re-signing in Germany, and because my attendance is not counted towards the other owner's goal this season. In both cases I can't do anything about it again.

Both goals have a high priority and I know I will get sacked again no matter how well I will perform this season.

The improve attendance goal seems to be bugged and the re-sign star player (high priority) request makes managing in the lower euro leagues quite hard unfortunately

I have another problem with owner goals, my board asked me to get a 3+ stars goalie and to sign another import player.

So I signed a 4 stars import goalie but the first goal was not cleared

It would not make sense for me to get another goalie considering the guy I just signed will be the clear starter, I think that in this situation both goals maybe should have been cleared
