FHM11 - Error Loading In

Hi Jeff,

Our multiplayer file is having an issue in loading where it gets hung on up loading up the coach template (screen shot for reference).

I have uploaded the file called:

20250213-BOWL-Boys Of Winter League.lg.zip

I have sent you a private email where the commissioner's password (should you need it.).

Any help you can provide I'd appreciate it.

Crashes in the same place for me as well. That's an odd place for it to crash, too, the coach templates are just inert data files that should never change. We'll have a look, but I'm pretty sure it'll be fixable.

Not good news, unfortunately. It's not the coach templates that are corrupt, but rather world.dat, which has a lot of critical data in it; it's also corrupt in both of the rolling saves, so reverting back to those won't fix it. The best thing to do at this point would be to revert back to your last set of good files and start again from that point. It's most likely a one-time issue with the data being damaged and won't repeat, but if it does please send us the version of the save you started from and we'll see if we can replicate it here.

Okay so I replaced the world.dat files and everything is working, all trades and entry draft are good, just went back in time to my last backup (July 1st).

Is there a way to identify which files are corrupt off chance, Jeff?

You can´t just replace the world.dat, you need to replace all files with your last working league file.

I wonder if the issue lies with the FHM10 save that was imported as that save for some reason is missing the first 2 rounds of picks for certain teams (which I had to manipulate in-game).

I doubt it really because I've lasted 9 seasons without a hitch, but if there was a sure way to identify what would spark the corruption in FHM11, it would be great.

Good think I have backups!

It is hard to tell what courses the corruption. But again, if you use a backup please mae sure to take all files from the backup and not just the world.dat!
