Question Are older players as predictable?

In v3, you knew that when a player reached 38 or 39, his talents and ratings would go down. I know that happens in real life, but in v3 it was a given.

I'd like to see more players retire at the top of their game, basically just make it less predictable.

Has anyone seen any changes with the older players?

In my solo league I did a Fantasy Draft, and selected one Veteran or in Baseball terms, one player over the age of 35. That man was Roger Clemens, mainly for trade bait but I'm going to make him my Triple A leader, depending on how he does there, is his fait.

I don't want to put him in my MLB Roster/Starting Rotation simply because I don't want to take any chances.

Efforts were definitely made to tweak the aging algorithm. Hopefully you'll notice a difference. It'll be interesting to see what people experience.
