Player's Current Team ON NTC Exception List?

I recently acquired Morgan Rielly. As you can see, he currently plays for the Flames, but has the Flames on his NTC Exception list still which doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm no NHL GM (though I have sent a resume for a few job vacancies), but I'd imagine that in the real world if a player had my team on their NTC exception list, as soon as they got traded to that team they would be able to add a new team to replace their now current team on that list.

The lists get adjusted twice a year, so it won't change until you hit the next date where they get reset.
