Bizarre Pitching Stat Occurrence
Hello - I have a six-man rotation in a historical league, and I've played six games (so once through the rotation). However, when I went to play the seventh game, I noticed my #1 starter, my ace, had been bypassed for the #2 starter, even though I use the "Strict Order" rotation. I wondered why, so I looked at #1's stats and noted that he'd pitched an additional 2.1 innings since his start on opening day. I checked every box score, and he hadn't pitched in any subsequent game.
So I went to his pitching log and saw his correct log for opening day (April 5), along with a log for 2.1 additional innings thrown on May 31 against Cleveland. First, I started the season the first week of April, so having him throw two innings on the last day of May doesn't make any sense. Also, the game on May 31 is versus Boston, not Cleveland. As I said, I've checked every single box score of the first six games, and he appeared only on opening day. Thoughts? |

Was the game suspended and set to resume on May 31, maybe?
