Schedule carryover

I'm playing a 1930s replay. In 1931, the NHL went to a 48-game schedule. By 1935, I decided this was too short and expanded it to 60 games. The next season, tho, it was re-set back to 48, and I have to change it to 60 every year. Is there a reason why it's doing this?

Okay, I found that I had to un-check "Leagues will change their season lengths when they did historically". Got it!
