Radical Era Baseball - New OOTP25 League Starting in 1980

Brand new historical league starting in 1980 where the focus will be on maintaining an alternate version of baseball history while not compromising statistical normalcy.

MLB stats prior to 1980 have been erased in order to make room to chart our own course through time as well as load league files faster. We use a 2-8 rating system with stars for potential ratings in order to create more of a "fog of war" to challenge GMs to sharpen their game due to the very slight potential differences in the ratings. It is possible that ratings could be over 8, but draftees every year as well as financials and ratings will follow MLB standards for the current year.
We use coaches and scouts, which will add levels of complexity and customization to the league.

Injuries are more realistic as well as frequency will follow ootp normal, which adds to the realism for this league. Players age a little slower and develop a little faster, solely to help GMs find their guys to build around and help those guys get to the Hall of Fame.
The one area where we will differ from MLB history is we have already introduced wild cards in 1980 to allow for more teams to compete in the playoffs. In terms of league evolution, we will follow the expansion path through history that MLB paved.

We are nearing Spring Training 1981. Our first season was a success, but the current OAK GM is unable to remain with us. He will stay on until we can find a replacement GM.

OAK finished 79-83 in 1980. Rickey stole 103 bases.
A couple of FAs have been added by the current GM.

Texas Rangers - Edit - Spot Filled
San Francisco Giants - Edit - Spot Filled

REB also sims daily a week at a time and 1982 is the 3rd season for REB. We also use real players in draft pools available a couple of years prior to making their debuts.
