Game is crashing because of player pics

FHM 11 is crashing quite often now because of what I believe to be the pics of the players. If I start a season and do a full initial draft, the save file will soon become corrupted and will no longer load properly. On top of the that, the game will crash out to the desktop when i try to load the game file.

What makes me think it's the pics? Whenever i start the draft, i see the pics for each player when i view them. After a few rounds of the draft, the pics suddenly disappear and go to a "shadow person". This tells me that the season is now corrupted and i need to reload from a prior save.

This is happening more and more often and making the game almost impossible to play. It's also occurring outside of the draft process during normal gameplay during a normal season start.

When it works, the game is great but it's crashing far too often and not loading properly. I don't want to give up on this game and am hopeful this can be addressed.
