2025 British Baseball Federation
Just in time for the upcoming 2025 season, I am embarking on a new British Baseball Federation. It will be a 32 team major league with a AAA and AA minor league. Trying my best to make it work geographically. Going to create home and away jerseys and pants for all teams and one cap. Socks and numbers in the future perhaps.

In my fictional league I changed from 2 levels of minors to 3 levels. With only 2 levels I found that the jump between minor league levels was too steep. With an age limit of 21 for the lowest level most players were not developed enough to hold their own in AAA against fully developed players. With a higher age limit young undeveloped players are overmatched by older players much further developed at the lowest level. I always saw a lot of red arrows at AAA.
I found that 3 levels work best. I now use AAA with no age limit, AA with age limit 23 and A with age limit 20. (with development speed at 1.200, when using 1.000 you probably want to increase the age limit by a year) This allows all players to compete against players at their own development level and I see a lot fewer red arrows.
