Historical League - Editing Contract Rules?

So I'm playing a historical league starting in 92-93, and I'm wondering if it's possible to edit the 50 contracts rule? That was put into the 2005 CBA, so it shouldn't be valid at that time, so I'd like to remove it.

I've enabled commissioner mode but there still doesn't seem any way to edit them. I've seen suggestions that I may be able to edit it but only after the first season?

Are you looking in the League Edit screen on July 1st?

Yes, I see now. Didn't notice the "edit" option at the bottom of the league options list.
