Not receiving email token auth key

I'm trying to create a 2nd account with my game purchase and I was able to register an account but I'm not getting the token key id in my email (its a hotmail address) I've already requested 3 retries but I've received none. I'm under the impression I can make 3 accounts per purchase of the game (at least that is how I interpret the message when you click the create account button in game).

If you bought through Fast Spring (so, not Steam) you can use your license to put it on 2 PCs. That license also authorizes you to have 3 Perfect Team accounts. It is unclear to me if you are trying to install the game on a second/third computer or set up another Perfect Team team. As much as I’ve played OOTP, I’m not clear on the use of “account” in this context or what the end result being sought is.

I bought my game through steam. When click on the new user/register button the message says "Perfect Team and Challenge Mode share the same account. You can create up to three accounts total per game license".

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but what I am trying to do is create a new account so I can have an "alt" perfect team account. Or do I need to purchase a new license?

Each of the three Perfect Teams you can set up under your license need a different email address tied to them. So, if your first team is tied to that hotmail address, use another email for the second team. I'm a one team guy but I used to have three in past editions, so some of this is from memory. I also don't use Challenge Mode but when you do use Challenge Mode is tied to a single email/PT team not multiple iirc.

yep so the one I've been playing all year is under a gmail address. recently heard about "alt" accounts and looked into that message on the new user/registration button on the main page so that's when I signed up with the new hotmail address. It was a successful signup but I'm simply not getting the token emailed to me. I try to login with the hotmail account's username and password and it says you have not validated your email yet but I'm not getting the email.

I say this only because it's a requisite, check-the-box type troubleshooting question... is it in the spam folder?

Nope not in spam or "junk" as hotmail calls it. Even did a search for "out of the park" with no hits.

I just tried making another account and it appears to have worked just fine with another gmail email account that I had. so maybe this is an issue with hotmail servers?

But now at this point the hotmail account is just hung and I've hit the max of 3 on my license. I'd need some way for support to null that activation for me.

I was just reading an old 2022 thread about how yahoo/hotmail and some AOL emails were causing issues - though they eventually, after days, went through for most. I just came back here to have you try another gmail. Glad you beat me to it. I'll try to bring someone over here to clear the other one.

Accounts that are not verified after 3 days will be automatically deleted (and the license getting freed).
