Tanking prevention check?

I've been running a Red Sox theme team all year hovering between stone and iron, but now it won't let me submit roster because I am "tanking." How do I get around this block without breaking any rules?

Sell high point value players from your inactive or reserve roster would be my first thought.

I've sold everything that isn't locked

The change I'm trying to make is live 98 Houck to PT Elite 99 Houck and somehow that's the tipping point.

No one is making you lock cards. Theme team players must never lock cards stronger than what they are playing. However, this looks like a bug as the game sees 98 Houck on the reserves and expects that card to be played. But, 98 Houck and 99 Houck cannot be played simultaneously.

You should be able to get rid of locked cards by using them in combinator attempts.

Same here but mine is a silver team. DON'T complete any missions and lock cards over your levels or this will happen. They said nothing can be done.

I never said there weren’t some hoops to jump through… just that it could be done.
