Discrepancy in contract demand for SP role vs bullpen role
I had an offseason where a couple of pitchers (Jo-Jo Romero and Jhoan Duran) had their projected role in MLB change over the course of the offseason, which created a huge discrepancy in their contract demands. They both have 35 stamina so I suspect something with that rating fluctuating between some threshold caused this.
When their role was "Starter" they both only wanted $3+ mil for 1 year, but when their the role changed to bullpen, their demands shot up to the high teens. I was able to sign Romero for 2 years, $7 million from a previous offer, even though he was coming off a 3 WAR season where he won reliever of the year. This despite the fact in the FA screen it showed his demand increased to $16 million. Duran signed for 3 years $61 million. |

I agree this could be improved upon... the CPU being unable to distinguish well enough between starting and relief pitchers makes free agency quite a bit easier than it should be.
