AI "Corrected" Database - Historical team names, etc.
Hope you are well.
https://www.mediafire.com/file_premi...se_1.0.7z/file I've used an AI program to go through the database and correct historical team abbreviations to match their BBref IDs. (Such as ML4 - MIL) This database also adjusts the historical Cleveland Guardians to the Cleveland Indians until they made the change. I've also used AI to adjust the financials so min/max salaries more closely match up to their historically accurate numbers by year. Data is based on the published numbers and then I had AI model the relationship between the existing values in OOTP and create adjusted numbers based on historically accurate minimum salary, average MLB salary and highest paid salary. A Note: I reduced the highest salary by 15% approximately as the game won't use the highest paid number as a ceiling. It won't be 100% accurate in game. You'll still get guys making more than the highest paid superstar historically that year, but it should be pretty close. Please report any errors in this thread. |

This may not work as well as you hope. These team IDs all need to match multiple files including a file like the era_ballparks file which is not included in the DB.

I’ve included “stats” and “database” as well as instructions on where to paste the files. I used a program to find every file that included team IDs By all means though let me know if you come across any errors. Right now I’m working more on the finances as I still don’t like the way they work. Last edited by justtxyank; 11-12-2024 at 08:49 PM. |
