Long-established alternate history league (1993)

The United League, an alternate history league (real players/fictional teams), has an opening for one of its founding franchises.

The UL, founded in 2003, has been running for over 20 years, and more than half of our 18 GMs have been with us for over a decade. We are heading into our 43rd season (1993) with a draft class that includes Manny Ramirez, Chipper Jones, and Trevor Hoffman.

The open team is the Boston Federals, one of our eight founding clubs in 1951. Their roster includes Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Mike Piazza, and Edgar Martinez and they play in Fenway Park.

Looking for a stable league with a great group of GMs? The UL could be the league for you!

Update to vacancy:

The open team is now the Washington Monuments, one of our founding franchises and a top pitching team. Rotation features perennial Cy Young candidates Bret Saberhagen and Teddy Higuera, supported by the big bats of Ryne Sandberg, Wade Boggs, Kirby Puckett and Mark McGwire!
