Starting Pitcher Benched?
I'm on the last game of the season, and my supposed starting pitcher has been benched in favor of an emergency Starter. Even though he is listed as my #1 starter, he really isn't my #1. My #2 starter is my staff ace. I wouldn't normally consider this an issue if I was saving my ace for the first game of the playoffs, but I run all facets of the team and I do not have an option to not bench him to pitch this last game. I have never seen this in my playing out years. Is this normal?

The game assumes your #1 starter is your ace and will bench him if you are playing a meaningless game going into the playoffs so as to have him fresh for the postseason. I don't follow the part where you say that you run all facets but don't have an option to not bench him (the emergency guy?). You can just make him (the #1 guy?) the starter if you want. You can select anyone you want to start on a given day if you are running the team.
