Historial Rookie Year Q?

Hey all, haven't played since 22, but looking to get back into it. Big thing for me is playing historical. Is there an option now to have players start at age 17/18, rather at the age they did?

Well, with historical minors enabled, they will come in at the first year they have minor league stats. So, if they were somewhere in pro ball and OOTP has a stat line for it, they will appear. If you disable historical minors, they ender at the age they were when they made an MLB roster (and have an MLB stat line).
