Icloud Storage Question

I had to send my OOTP file from documents over to D drive for temporary storage as it's taking up too much of my C drive. Is it possible to completely play the game from icloud storage? If not, if I want go completely play the game from D drive with NOTHING from OOTP on C drive, would I have to buy the game directly instead of Stream (which is my normal?) Please advise because it takes up so much space on my C drive to play the way I want to. Thank you.

While it might be possible, it wouldn't be a good thing. Even with today's great internet speeds, the sheer volume of small data transfers would probably drop your gameplay speed into the tank because internet is nowhere near as fast as hard drives or ssd's. I'm not basing this on direct knowledge, just a reasonably educated guess.

You can change the path of your saved_game files to a different hard drive. You do not need to have them being saved in documents. You do need to trasfer all your saved_game files to this new directory but it will keep them from saving on the C drive.
