Age Limits
I'm seeing players signed to Partner League teams who are already over the "Active Roster Player Age Maximum".

The age maximum is typically counted from the 1st of the year iirc. So guys who were 29 then but have since turned 30 are eligible for that year.
Once the next year rolls around, they will be ineligible.

I’m guessing this would never come into effect for an independent league where everyone is on a one-year contract. The over-30 player enters free agency before the league specific restriction hits, then he can sign to that league again after missing the annual audit.
