20-grade logos

I tried to draw the Statue of Minerva in Guadalajara. Also, the logo is a combination of the city's soccer teams... the overall logo shape from Chivas, the black from Atlas and Leones, and the gold shade from CD Oro. (It originally had Garamond/serif font for Leones, but it's easier to read this way.) I also made the small logo G from part's of Atlas's A. I couldn't fit anything from the baseball team Charros, but I did make little stylized agave plants.

An original 1876 member of the National League, this team was requested by ramzavail. I wasn't able to figure out how to work in a reference to Candy Cummings or Lip Pike. I drew a local landmark, the Russian-onion-dome-style tower of the Colt Factory. I've often seen it from the highway - my dad's from West Hartford. Thanks for reminding me of that, ramzavail, I haven't been there in years

In this timeline, the National League expanded to Hartford instead of Houston in 1962? Or more likely, this is a Houston minor league team

Another request from Ramzavail, this was a 19th century minor league team in Paterson that Honus Wagner played for. I did try to draw the falls (yielding a kind of WPA poster), and, setting aside Honus Wormger (a silkworm wearing Honus Wagner's face ), for now here is a silk-bat logo.



It's a little hard to see here but looks great on the dark background in the game.

I love the Silk Weavers logo. The bats look like knitting needles, or the thing overall looks like a loom. (I don't know how silk is made into clothing. XD)

Thank you, I got the idea from reference images of silk production on industrial looms. I also like the idea of rotating them to be knitting needles - could be the beginning of another textile themed team

Colors are from the Courier and Ives lithograph. The H is Hoboken's logo, I made the 9, N, and J out of it.

Periodically I refresh the logos for the team that I play as. You can look back on them in this thread and see my skills improve. This version is based on the IWW logo, because I play socialist fantasy baseball.

Here is an alternate team for Oakland, in A's colors, the Oakland Larks. Named for a short-lived Black baseball team. I drew two different larks! a western meadowlark, and a horned lark.
