PT - Off Season bug?
I earned Bullet Joe Rogan and so I eagerly assign him as a 2-way player, but he doesn't show up as a hitter, nor does any other pitcher I can assign as 2-way. If I assign Cristobal Torriente, CF, as 2-way, he shows up as a pitcher but disappears as a hitter. Does being in the off season have something to do with this, because I never had problems with 2-ways ?
Also, noteworthy is that BJR's in the league show up in their team's depth chart, but NOT in the list of hitters. If while BJR is on my reserve roster I change his position to RF and then activate, no dice, he's still a pitcher only. If while Torriente is on the reserve roster listed as CF and activate, I can insert him into the depth chart, then change to 2-way, he disappears from the hitter list and shows up as a pitcher but remains in the depth chart. All on the lastest .90 patch, BTW. |

Also noteworthy is that I tried this on my other computer which is still on Build 87 and have no issues with 2-way players.

This 2-way player bug has nothing to do with the off season and is still there in Build 91. I would have been extremely disappointed to not use BJR as a 2-way player but for the happenstance of another computer on an old build.

The first step is always to make sure you don't have some sort of filter on your player list. It's possible there's some filter that got left on the one machine that somehow is hiding the two-way players.
One thing you can try would be to open up the player strategy for them, and then use the "clear player strategy" action button, and then re-checking the two-way box on them, to see if that will reset things. Otherwise, which player lists aren't showing the two way setup? Is it just the lineup ones? If you open up the player profile, does it show them as a two-way player (usually it will list fatigue for both batters and pitchers in the bottom left status section)? |

Thank you for the response, but I don't think I am doing anything wrong.
This bug affects other teams in the league. So, what could I do that prevents BJR from showing up on the hitter's list on OTHER teams? In these screenshots, you can count 15 players (there is some overlap) the game says there are 15 (upper right corner) and BJR is not one of them even though he is batting leadoff. |

What custom filter are you using on that view? I see there's one enabled

Nevermind, he should have shown up if the Player Strategy screen is enabled to have the two-way.
