Question about players

Does anyone know why like when I look at my bullpen the position for the Pitcher is like Matt Thornton RP the RP is in RED. He's the only pitcher than his position is red. This came up about 15-20 games ago. Clarification would be awesome. This is 1st time I've ever seen this.

I know it happens if you select a value for "Force Role" in the player's strategy.
