Allowing Practice Facility programs to extend into the next season?

I had a pitcher who suffered an injury four out of the last five seasons. I watched his injury proneness drop from Normal to Wrecked pretty quickly.

Problem is, because he was generally breaking down near the end of the season, in none of those four seasons was I able to run the Strength and Conditioning program in the Practice Facility, because he was injured, and by the time he was ready to start one, he couldn't, because there wasn't enough time.

Wouldn't it make sense to allow the Strength and Conditioning program to extend into the following season? Or at least allow a player to start the program while he was injured? Having read the "Injury Creep' thread, it seems like a mistake that you're effectively barred from trying to do something to help your player who's having a rough time with injuries. And I mean... you can't even send him to do a rehab stint in the minors, because it's the offseason.

You know, this is actually a good idea. Allowing injured players to ONLY be able to run the S&C prgram in the off-season if hurt. All other programs are grayed out, but S&C could be used.
