Do any of you restart your Sim to use new roster updates?

I usually start my long term Sim after the first big patch (late May or so) but always see that they update the rosters as part of each patch.

Do any of you quit your long term saves to take advantage of those or do you just stick with your save since after about 3-5 years there are fictional players in key spots on teams anyway.

I am always curious how others play the game so that is why I am asking. Thanks.
