Will you still buy FHM 11?

I've bought every game since FHM 7 but man the gameplay experience has just not been improving enough for me with each iteration. Unless there is substantial overhaul with the AI trading, I don't think I will buy the next game.

Yeah I'll buy it - I've had 1000's of hours of enjoyment out of the game since I first discovered it at the end of the FHM7 life cycle.

I will because it supports the small team and I want to do my part to keep them around to get better. And, if enough of us back the game, maybe they could get more resources like OOTP has.

That being said, I do wish they would stop trying to be all things to all people. The only license they have is for the NHL so I think the majority of development time should go to making that part of the game the best it can be before working on other leagues.

Instead, we get what feel like incomplete versions of all. None have all the authentic rules or features they should (NCAA, euro leagues, AHL, ECHL, and even the NHL with waiver rules and other things we talk about on this board).

I also wish they would do more with the 2D simulator which has not significantly improved in its purpose since it was introduced. I know the change list would tell you it has but the eye test tells a different story.

I thought this would be the way we could actually see the players move, identify what they were doing, create strategies based upon both teams, etc. but setting team strategies still feels like a crapshoot and not really that much of an upgrade (other than visually) over the classic simulator. Even the results the 2D simulator produces are not consistent and many players went back to the classic simulator to get better results. Again, after several years, that should be fixed before adding new things.

I will, because the small price compared to the countless hours of fun i had still very much justifies this and upcoming purchases.
And i still live under the illusion that my €€€ contributes to a larger dev team so Seb won´t be alone anymore having to do all.......I may dream, may I ?

Of course i'll buy it! No game is perfect, but this small team works very hard to try and please as many people as possible.

I'll buy to support the game but if there's no significant improvements, it'll probably be the last for a year or two as I don't feel there's enough improvements between each edition.

The game still runs awfully slow if you load multiple leagues - even with a good computer that can handle much larger databases on Football Manager.

There's lots of room for polish and improvement across all aspects of the game, I just hope they focus more on this than a new 'feature'.

While this thread may have good intentions, there's very little that comes out of it that would be worthwhile for further discussions. Threats of not buying doesn't make things more likely to happen - in fact it may end up having the opposite effect.

We appreciate all the support of the community, especially those vocal about things they want to see - but there's a thread dedicated to that right now. So I'm going to lock this before it turns into something that it does not need to be.
