Push Notifications

Hahaha...yes...when push comes to shove....they don't do anything....I do not even get the generic pushes anymore....the first generation of the app was great...the last two..have been awful....

I think we're also going to add a few new notifications as well (although don't quote me on that)

After 5 years, finally DoD tournaments at my level in Perfect Team. To celebrate I bought Go, but found I have to turn off notifications.

Don't care when a tournament starts.
Don't care when I sell a 50-point card.
Partly care when I win a tournament.

All I want to know is when a tournament ends (whether I win or not) and selectively turn off all other notifications. Can that be done?

BTW, turning off notifications from the settings within the program doesn't "stick" on a Galaxy S8 android. I have to turn off notifications on the phone's settings.

At the moment no, but it's something for us to consider giving a bit more fine tuning options for which notifications you see in the future. At the moment it's either all (card sales, card purchases, tournament start, tournament end, etc.) or none.

I'll also take a look at the program settings, perhaps it's not communicating with the server well. I do know that it takes some time when you open up the settings to sync, so if you give it about 10-15 seconds before switching the settings, then 10-15 seconds (to be safe) before closing the settings, maybe that'll work?

Thanks for checking, but maybe the problem is with the Galaxy S8 than with OOTP. I tried setting OOTP to a different notification sound in my phone, but that didn't "stick", either.

I love the notifications. All I can say is...woohoo. Only good thing to come out of of ootp25. Please keep this is future versions, and have it at release when releasing Go.
