Kent Johnson's shift from closer to rotation has started off strong as he went the distance in an 8-3 Toronto win over the Mariners!

Miguel Rivera hit a Grand Slam with Vincent Ramey joining him in back-to-back dingers. Lawrence Leverett also went deep for the Jays.

Later Rivera left the game with a sore back. Word it it isn't too serious.
