For the purpose of editing players, is there is any way to find out what numbers correlate with which schools?

In the explore world menu, there is a school submenu that I think has the school ids. There are a lot of pages though since there are a ton of schools.

You could open the schools xml file in an XML editor (or even in plain old notepad) and do a search for the team ID or name.

The fastest way I've found is to go to the Schools page and set the filter for a particular state (eg: AL gives me the Alabama schools).

Just looking at that small sample size makes me realize how tedious getting all those schools in the game correctly must be. Uggh.
Please take my $40-odd bucks and make it happen!
