PT 25 Road to the Perfect Team World Championship

The Road to the Perfect Team World Championship (PTWC) will go through multiple avenues: league play, daily/weekly tournaments/PDs, Perfect Team Championship Series (PTCS), Perfect Team Master Series (PTMS) and Perfect Team Live.

Tournament and Perfect Draft Slots Per Account Tournaments
- 2 Quick Slots
- 4 Daily/Weekly Slots
- 1 Entry Fee Slot
Perfect Draft
- 3 Overall PD Slots
- 1 Entry Fee Slot

Every week, starting on Friday, March 15, 2024 (Launch Day), the tournament leader boards will track your progress in the 10 di􏰀erent tournament formats. Each period’s PTCS will occur on the Saturday of the first full week of the month. Here’s a breakdown of the leader boards/standings:

***The Weekly Leader Boards will start Monday and end Sunday of every week through the PT 25 PTCS/PTMS/PTWC cycle.***
Understanding the ways to earn points will be key to your success on the road to the PTWC. Just like in PT 24, there are 10 di􏰀erent standings -- with daily tournaments getting a di􏰀erent number in the title that relates to its standings, so you know where you’re competing. These are the standings with the daily tournaments showing the number designation:
 *1* Open (any tournament with a *1* in the title goes into the Open category standings)
 *2* Iron
 *3* Bronze
 *4* Silver
 *5* Gold
 *6* Diamond
 *7* Wild Card
 Weekly Tournament (this includes cumulative scores of all weekly tournaments)
 Daily Perfect Draft (this includes cumulative scores of all daily PDs)
 Weekly Perfect Draft (this includes cumulative scores of all weekly PDs)
NOTE: At launch, all Daily tournaments will have four tournaments in its grouping, so there are four Open category tournaments, four Iron category tournaments, etc. This may expand to five for each group in the future.

Teams will accumulate points in the leaderboards based on finish in tournaments and PDs:

Points for standings – Weeklies
a. 1st – 30 points
b. 2nd–20
c. 3rd-4th – 15
d. 5th-8th – 10
e. 9th-16th – 6
f. 17th-32nd – 3
g. 33rd-64th – 1
h. 65th-128th or 256th – 0

Points for standings – Dailies
a. 1st – 25 points
b. 2nd–15
c. 3rd-4th – 10
d. 5th-8th – 6
e. 9th-16th – 3
f. 17th-32nd – 1
g. 33rd-64th or 128th – 0

The leaders in the weekly standings earn prizes distributed on Mondays once all of that week’s tournaments and PDs have completed. If they haven’t completed, then the payout will come after that week’s scheduled tournaments have completed. A tournament and/or PD will not overlap into the following week if it didn’t start at its regularly scheduled time.
Prizes for the Top 10 of Weekly and Daily Tournaments and PDs
a. 1st – 50,000 PP
b. 2nd – 35,000 PP
c. 3rd-4th – 25,000 PP
d. 5th-10th – 15,000 PP

PTCS
The points you accumulate in the standings for a “Period” will determine who qualifies for the 128-team field for the following PTCS. Each leaderboard will have its own PTCS, so there will be 10 PTCSes per month. This is the current PTCS schedule for PT25, but changes may occur due to scheduling issues:
PTCS 1: Saturday, April 6
PTCS 2: Saturday, May 11 PTCS 3: Saturday, June 8
PTCS 4: Saturday, July 6
PTCS 5: Saturday, August 10 PTCS 6: Saturday, September 7 PTCS 7: Saturday, October 12 PTCS 8: Saturday, November 9 PTCS 9: Saturday, December 7 PTCS 10: Saturday, January 11 PTCS 11: Saturday, February 8

Not only will there be prizes at stake in the PTCS, but there will be points earned for place of finish that will be added to the PTCS qualification standings to help determine the field for the PTMS. These standings will group all of the tournament PTCSes together and all of the PD PTCSes together for two standings (one for tournaments and one for PDs). The top 128 teams in each of those standings will qualify for the PTMS. These are the points earned from the PTCS:

Points for PTCS Standings that Lead to PTMS
a. 1st – 300 points
b. 2nd–100
c. 3rd-4th – 75
d. 5th-8th – 40
e. 9th-16th – 20
f. 17th-32nd – 5
g. 33rd-64th – 2
h. 65th-128th – 1

PTMS
The PTMS will also see expansion in the field and frequency. The field will be expanded from 64 to 128 teams for the PTMS, and there will be five iterations of the PTMS instead of two. More PTMS details and formats will be announced in the future. The two 128-team fields for the PTMS, however, will not be filled with just teams from the PTCS. League play will also play a factor in these standings. These points will be used in both the tournament PTMS standings and the PD PTMS standings, so success in league play will be put towards both competitions.

These are the breakdown in points:
League Play Points Allocations

Perfect League
a. 1st – 200 points (only for the upcoming PTMS)
b. 2nd – 100 points
c. 3rd-4th – 75 points
d. 5th-8th – 50 points
e. 9th-16th – 35 points
f. 17th – last – 30 points

Diamond League
a. 1st – 35 points
b. 2nd – 15 points

Gold League
a. 1st – 10 points

These are the dates for the PTMS:
PTMS 1: Weekend of June 15 (Following three PTCSes) PTMS 2: Weekend of August 17 (Following two PTCSes) PTMS 3: Weekend of October 19 (Following two PTCSes) PTMS 4: Weekend of December 14 (Following two PTCSes) PTMS 5: Weekend of February 15 (Following two PTCSes)

There will also be points earned for placement in the PTMS, and those will go toward qualification for the PTWC. These are the placement points:
a. 1st – 300 points
b. 2nd–100
a. 3rd-4th – 75
b. 5th-8th – 40
c. 9th-16th – 20
d. 17th-32nd – 5
e. 33rd-64th – 2
f. 65th-128th – 1

PTWC
We have now come to the PTWC! While success in the PTMS will contribute to qualification for the PTWC, it will be only one component of qualifying. The following areas will contribute to the standings for the PTWC and fill the field. There will only be one PTWC. Here are the components of qualification:
1. PT Live (leaderboards points divided by 50 for scale)
2. League Points
3. All cumulative tournament points in the weekly standings over the course of the cycle
4. All PTCS points
5. All PTMS points

** The date of the PTWC will be the weekend of Saturday, February 22 **
