Well here it is the same logo, but of course, now I want to do a new one at some point. That's clip art I stole from somewhere. Plus those radiating lines are going to have to be a Sun of May now

The map and the little CHILE text are too small to see in the game, but whatever, they're there.


Sanhattan alternate/city connect is the source of this idea... Chile, flamingos, Manhattan, they're all vertical.


Wanted to integrate the tall map and the neck of the bird in some way, but I couldn't figure it out, so there are too separate versions.

Great again 20! I can't decide which is my favourite but will muck about with them in game. Any chance (again no rush!) you could send me the flamingo Santiago one without the patterned texture? Or maybe with a more dense texture like the Toronto one? Love the colours

Flamingoes really well done... excellent design, colors and fit the city culture well.. like the non-textured better... will show up better in the game at the small sizes.

I wanted to go back to slightly improve this one by adding a border. I made one for myself in this large desert city because I already have a team in Juarez.

Theoretically a third, future person could use the logo for just "las Tunas" for a team anywhere in that region.

20 these are so good! I've always loved the colours in this logo, and that border is so great (the black outline one is definitely my favourite). Excited to add this logo upgrade to my game. Another prime example of how you have a real knack of injecting varied personalities into teams with your great logos

The Seattle Herons


I didn't want this to come out exactly like the Delmarva Shorebirds, or this great Portland Herons, I decided I wanted to try to draw it as an evil dinosaur, like, the heron's face. It's supposed to be pov the heron has noticed you and you are about to be eaten.


So I ended up not depicting the most visually significant things about herons, their stick standing legs or curvy s necks (although I think since I'm using this one too I will still try to do a curvy neck S in the future). I did get some stringy hair in there



What I drew is based on this image, a dinosaur muppet (Big Bird I guess). I omitted the other eye, it was too ridiculous

A lot of the details are kind of too small to see really, but I am pleased to be drawing (now my primary child-is-asleep activity). The shading is once again rudimentary, and I have used too many colors

also behind the heron is supposed to be a stadium roof (the heron is maybe tagging the viewer out at second)


also included your-city-name-here Herons version, although it needs some text on the top - just "Baseball Club" doesn't fit properly

The Seattle Herons

You're not helping me resist the urge to expand the league at the end of this (in game) year, 20_range, having only just expanded it last in-game year that would definitely be overkill. Must.not.expand.league.for.sake.of.getting.these.a wesome.logos.in...

Anyway, this has rocketed the Seattle Herons to the top of the expansion list for the East NA division. Notably, next on that list is the Edmonton Hurricanes - for which I want to use your superb Hurricanes logo (I believe they built Hurricanes there in the war, so relevant).

I don't think there's too many colours, I really like its vibrancy, and the Heron looks fantastic. Very clearly a heron even without its most distinctive features as you say. I really like the 'S' logo too, and will probably use a combination of the small S logo, and large other logo in my game. I think the large 'S' logo could work really well too though, just needs something extra maybe? Thank you

Ok, seeing as you love being sent ideas when you already have a large list from me (particularly excited about your Cape Town Penguins interpretation), I think my next expansion will be as follows. Note many of the teams already have logos (mainly your existing ones!). I'm probably going to crumble and do it the next in game year - so they'll be established in 2059:

1. Lisbon Caravels/Galleons (your splendid logo - happy with either name)
2. Mogadishu Seashells (something based on the pink and turquoise-y design of this shirt I have would be amazing.
3. Jaipur Pink Sox (I think I've found a couple of contenders for this one, so don't worry unless you're dying to make it)
4. Chongqing Hotpots (you've already made me, thanks!)
5. Seattle Herons (as above, again thanks!)
6. Cincinatti Cincies (using your logo)
7. Paramaribo Pufferfish (my son has this fabulous t-shirt, so something based on that would be amazing! Then I can pretend his t-shirt is merch from the team)
8. Monterrey Dinos (I'm using the Dinos logo from one of your threads )

If you're really bored, the Edmonton Hurricanes will be in the next expansion after that, because I love this logo of yours so much, so an Edmonton variant would be great.

For myself, I've been working on doing a small league to replicate the CPBL set in Taiwan and the Philippines - drawing some birds and an isopod and stuff - seashells and pufferfish will fit nicely into that. I'll probably redo the Blue Magpies, too... if you look all the way back over a year into this thread, you'll notice that it took me a really long time to learn how to do circular text, so I just... awkwardly didn't.
Should I make the Lisbon team called Caravels, Galleon, or Naus?

Ah great! Well I'm glad they fit somewhat into your own plans. Had to look up what an isopod was. Now imagining all kinds of weird logos...

As for the Lisbon team. Caravels if you don't mind/it works? I believe the Portuguese invented them so seems most apt.

This is ok. I wanted to try to draw a standing penguin, because they have a weird stance, but it's getting familiar for me to do bird's faces in circles I guess so here it is. (I spent some time trying to draw a monkey today and birds are way easier)

I think this one could be improved. I also tried fitting some Africaans and Xhosa on there but the text got too small, and there are lots of other languages. I think this one might be better as just the head anyway.

I put a little smile in the beak (beaks don't look like that)

edit: couldn't help it, added an Africaans version (all words are taken from the wikipedia page titles), and one with google translate Xhosa on the top, Africaans at the bottom

Thank you 20! Excited to get the Caravels in my game next season and that Penguins logo is great. An unexpected colour scheme, but one that really works (and makes sense given the pink bits on African penguins), and it's refreshing not having the whole penguin in the logo for once if anything. Love the artistic smile too, and the Afrikaans word bofbal.
